Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the seasoned chicken thighs and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and deglaze, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in the heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese, and dried thyme. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season the sauce with additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the cooked chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic parmesan sauce over them. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Enjoy!
